There are different types of mini motor bikes for any individual out there looking for one. There are the dirt bike types of mini motor bike, there are the chopper types, pocket bikes, and mini pit bikes. As someone who wishes to have a different mini than other bike enthusiast then you should go with a mini motor bike that suits you. Although some of these mini dirt bikes have been outlawed due to scientific findings that some of the metal frames of these bikes contain lead that is harmful for children, you should go for something that is deemed safe and legal to use. Here are several different types of mini motor bikes you can choose from.
Pocket bikes/Pocket rockets
These are mini motor bikes that have become hugely popular among kids. They are miniature versions of their brethren the motorbike used for flat track racing. These bikes are highly recommended for children between the age of 8-15 years old. They are fairly miniature in size but some of these bikes have a 50-60 horsepower engine which packs quite a punch. Some individuals have already started organizing races for these pocket bikes. There's an event both for kids and for adults to join. Always remember that safety comes first, be sure that you put on the proper safety gear for yourself and for your child whenever you ride one of these bikes. They aren't called pocket rockets for no reason for they can also go really fast as their normal sized brethren.
Mini Choppers
These are miniaturized versions of their Harley Davidson or customized chopper brethrens. These are mostly used to cruise around the track than to be used for racing. Although in some other countries they also have race competitions for these minis, but these competitions are strictly for kids. Always remember that although these resemble their normal sized chopper brethrens these are strictly used only in the track. It is illegal to ride them on public roads and freeways. If ever anyone is caught using them outside the track the vehicle will be confiscated, the driver will be fined or worst spend the night in jail. Be a responsible mini motor bike owner and always abide by the safety requirements and laws to avoid breaking them. If your kids are doing most of the driving remember to always remind them about the proper safety requirements and federal laws.
Mini Dirt Bikes
These mini dirt bikes are mostly used for dirt bike racing. There are professional races for these dirt bikes where children and adults can both compete. Like motocross races, these dirt bikes are used to race around muddy tracks and maneuver through several obstacles. Some professional racers even pull off stunts from these minis. These minis may have a 125-250cc engine and they can go really fast. Although some of the bikes used for professional racing and stunts have already been upgraded to squeeze out their maximum speed and power to maneuver through those rough terrains with ease.
